Shiatsu massage is an ancient Japanese method in which pulsing and rhythmic pressure is applied to strategic points on the body to ensure the flow of vital energy, heal aches and pains, and stimulate the natural healing process. We highly recommend this massage style for those in search of physical calm and relaxation, relief of stress and anxiety, and the reduction of muscle tension and pain.

Our Deep Tissue massage targets deep layers of muscle and the surrounding tissues. This treatment involves applying firmer pressure and slower strokes to reach the deeper layers of muscle, tendons, and fascia. B52 strongly recommends this massage type for those looking to treat a sports injury or chronic pain. Deep Tissue Massage is known to help back pain (including pregnancy-related lower back pain), reduce high blood pressure, and even improve mental health.

Cupping therapy is a technique widely used to reduce muscle tension and to treat trigger points. This approach is characterized by suction of the soft tissues (muscles, fascias, tendons) thus increasing local blood circulation which will help reduce muscle discomfort. Cupping therapy is a very popular treatment among sportsmen and athletes.

Among the benefits you will find among others:
• Relaxation of muscle fibers and fascia
• Reduction of pain
• Better mobility following the realignment of muscle fibers
• Helps in better scar healing

Myofascial release is a safe and effective massage therapy technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. We suggest myofascial release for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.

It is a technique generated by the friction of the Gua Sha on the muscles. This specialized tool is used to create a slight local inflammation which will allow the regeneration of blood in the targeted area. This technique helps in the healing and nutrition of tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments). It can be used on trigger points, muscle pain, muscle adhesions and tensions, tendinopathies and more. It should be noted that this technique is painless.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of massage that encourages the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries toxins and waste products away from the tissues back towards the heart. It helps with bloating, digestif issues and draining toxins from body tissues. By manipulating specific areas of your body, this technic also helps improve fluid retention and the appearance of stubborn cellulite. It increases blood flow, tones and smoothes the skin. It improves skin elasticity, releases muscle tension and maximizes body contouring. Overall lymphatic drainage creates a feeling of light weight and well being.
